Hallockville is unique natural staging area. The only "flash" is a shooting star across the dark night sky; the only "glitz" is the reflection of sunlight on the open fields. As almost all East End locations require, a tent is necessary to accommodate larger groups, but he beautifully restored barn provides indoor space for a cocktail party, band, and dance floor. The open beams and warm woods of the barn's interior are a designer's dream. Although eminently suited to a country design, skillful designers can turn this space into just about anything! The tent can be erected to back up against the barn so that the wide barn doors provide a natural opening between the two structures. The grounds are populated by historic buildings, many of which date from the 1700's. The location is convenient as it is close to the Hamptons, LIE, and is in the heart of Wine Country. It was worth the wait for the completion of this winery's renovation as it is now one of the premiere locations for weddings and events on the East End. It is absolutely glorious. The Hamptons feeling is alive and present on the North Fork with all its charm and elegance.The designer for the renovation must be a genius as she has managed to incorporate historical elements with the beauty of nature and balance of structure in such a way as to almost erase the lines. All two hundred guests that can be accommodated in the pavilion will have an unparalleled experience. The pavilion has a mahogany deck, high angled ceilings with incredible lighting, a huge bar, and is designed to allow elegant and easy service. The adjoining tasting room is perfect for late staying guests and there is even a loft that serves as a bridal party area. Wedding ceremonies may be performed in the orchard which has a wisteria laden long arbor entry. Bedell Cellars has an in house event specialist, Claire Day, who guides clients easily and professionally in planning their special event. Corey Creek permits visitors to experience some of the best the East End has to offer: sea air and great wine! They have a great deck that is raised high, permitting spectacular views of the vineyards and catching any afternoon breeze off the water. The great news is that Corey Creek is now permitting weddings and other private events on their lovely property. They can accommodate only fifty one persons in the tasting room, but a tented affair can hold up one hundred fifty. Claire Day is the contact person for all events held here (and also at Bedell Cellars) and she will provide you with all the necessary information. This winery is extremely busy on weekends, so you would be wise to call ahead for an appointment with her. Once you visit this spectacular location, you will surely want to speak to her about arranging your wedding or corporate event. This winery is lovely for weddings and all private parties.
