The East End of Long Island is approximately 75 miles from New York City. The Long Island Expressway extends all the way from New York City to Riverhead, the gateway to both Long Island Wine Country and The Hamptons. Traffic can be heavy on Friday nights in season, but visitors are not deterred given the rewards at the end of the road!
