| The first thing that greeted me at Blue Sage Day Spa was the gloriously light and soothing fragrance. Of course, owner Trisha Phillippe-Poole was right there to welcome me into her lovely world. The parlor like reception area has blue toile drapes and pillows, comfortable chairs, soft music, and did I mention the fragrance? The physical floor plan of this spa is part of its beauty. Each of its rooms is distinctly separate so that there is a door and a wall, not just a curtain between guests. This makes for exceptional quiet. The manicure/pedicure room is the last room back and has windows on both corners. No smells of polish or remover assail the person receiving any body treatments. Blue Sage offers nine different facial options, five body treatments including body bronzing, and ten choices for massage therapy, including couples massages and bridal packages. The licensed staff is as professional as you can find anywhere in Manhattan, the products as high quality as the world's best spas, and the location as perfect and convenient as anywhere on the East End. man, woman or child, young or old, you'll get the finest expertise for hair cuts,
coloring, hair treatments, and many other fabulous beauty treatments. The
salon offers all the talent and amenities I anticipated and expected of a renowned
salon, and I was surprised and delighted by the welcoming feeling. The prices,
though in keeping with Manhattan, are not exorbitant, and the results are fabulous.
On one of my visits, there were some "famous" people, and I noted that I
was treated with the same courtesy and attention. Brides are special and so receive
special treatment, including wedding location services as far away as The Hamptons
