Schondebare - President and Founder
North
Fork Weddings, Ltd. is owned by Marguerite
Schondebare, a resident of the North Fork
for her entire life. In the year 2000, she
opened her home in Southold as a Bed and
Breakfast. In the course of operating "Always
In," she hosted many guests who were
in the midst of planning weddings and seeking
information about the area. Having been
involved with all facets of community life,
Marguerite realized that she had lots of
information that only someone who has lived
in the community for so long would have.
Hence, she created NorthForkWeddings.com.
The site quickly became the most popular
and comprehensive resource not only for
brides, but also for corporations and individuals
wanting to hold an event on the North Fork.
In June of 2003, SouthForkWeddings.com,
a mirror image of NorthForkWeddings.com,
came into existence to reflect the resources
in The Hamptons. This year Marguerite has
launched EastEndCelebrations.com, a site
with even greater breadth of information
and features. Marguerite is always available
to answer any questions about her sites
or about the East End.
Linda Pasca - Staff Artist
Linda
Pasca summered on the North Fork all of
her life and moved here permanently six
years ago with her daughter, Kayla. She
holds a Bachelor of Arts from The Cooper
Union School in New York City where she
gained her skills as a calligrapher and
graphic designer. Her business, pen and
paper, is located in Mattituck and it is
there that she does custom framing for us
and other clients. We are particularly pleased
to have Linda's assistance for all of our
promotions and advertisements, and extremely
proud to be able to offer some of her work
for purchase. Her diverse artistic background
places her in high demand for weddings and
other special events. She is a welcomed
addition not only to our staff, but to our
community.
